I have CMBN installed on both my desktop and laptop along with the CM Helper and Dropbox. I am currently doing a match using CMH, and my dropbox on the desktop. Since I have the match files on both computers (via Dropbox) can I play the same match using both units? I know that I would need to set up the laptop CM Helper for our match but will it work? Thanks for the help.

will it work?

I don't know. I have never done it. In theory, whatever you upload to drobox is visible to all the computers pointing to that dropbox folder. CMHelper, on the other hand, synchronizes that dropbox with your local "X":\Users\"yourname"\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission\"Gamename"\Game Files. I don't think CMHelper can manage shared machines. I think you will have to manually move game files into "Incoming email" and out of "Outgoing email" folders back and forth to dropbox.

It's a simple experiment to try. Let us know how it works. Good luck and good gaming!

HEY IT WORKS (with a caveat of course).:cheerso: I have my games installed on different drives in both systems; (C on the laptop and D on the desktop). My CMH and Dropbox are both on the C drives. I just set everything up like you normally do for each game on each system.

I then took my opponents last turn out of the desktop games incoming mail folder on the desktop and put it in the laptop incoming mail folder via my flashdrive. When I opened the CMH on the laptop it was sitting there waiting for me.

Now you ask, why the hell would I want to go to all this trouble? Well, I am currently traveling and dont want to wait for 5 days to play my next turn:shocknaz:I can now use either system at any point in time, I just need to remember to take my opponents last turn out of the laptop game incoming folder and put it in the desktop game incoming folder when I get home on the 27th. Plus if my 10 year old desktop dies I have the laptop to fall back on-no delay of game.
