Everyone probably already knows, I found out a couple of weeks ago, but the Stars Wars blasters were based on the Sterling machine gun, which is an evolution of the Sten.

The diorama to depict Pearl Harbor before attack: On 2015 this men working on a 1:700 scale replica of Pearl Harbor. The men created the diorama based on aerial photos from the day before the Japanese attack.
