"This photo is of members of the Teutonia Club, circa 1931. Founded in Chicago in 1924, Teutonia was a forerunner of the German-American bund, known as its "old guard". All of the founding members had Freikorps experience battling the communists in Germany. Teutonia disbanded in 1932, with members joining Gau USA, the actual NSDAP arm, which itself would be absorbed into the nascent Bund.
Flag is the very first flag of American National Socialism, from the early 20s."
