Syrian Civil War: Assault on Base 111

This semi-historical scenario is going to depict Al-Nusras capture of the Base of the 111th Army Regiment during December 2012, playable H2H or Red vs Blue AI. Map size is gonna be 2,222 x 1,993 km and i am modelling it in 1:1 scale. Here is some background info:

The green lines in the right half of the map are elevation lines, the white dots are coordinates i calculated from satelite images.

The historical map is finished by now. Here is what it looks like:

In order to improve gameplay an for a more "economical" usage of the map area i will probably go away from a strictly historical map. I am thinking of moving a supposed Syrian chemical weapons research facility / production site wich is located several kilometers to the east of the map onto the map and make capturing it an objective for the rebels. This way the north eastern part of the map is hopefully going to see a bit more action.
 
Ok, by now have done everything i planned to do except writing the Briefings (i kinda hate that part :D). Aditionally i completely reworked the whole 4km²+ maps foliage in order make the map look more better and to provide more cover & concealment for both players. I am going to post screenshots later this day or tomorrow. I modelled the foliage after photographs of that area.

I have a low end machine so the graphis look kinda bad in those screenshot (especially the first one). There is MUCH more foliage & details in the distacne than you can see in those images.
 
Looking ahead for this. Playing yours base46 scenario, and it runs with more them 80 fps in my system. Im very impressed with your work and waiting to play this 1:1 scale, it´s what Im looking for

The scenario is ready for testing and I am currently playing it H2H. If anyone else wants to test it, please drop a message ITT. Any feedback is apreciated.

After several people tested the scenario H2H and Red vs. AI, i made a couple of modifications in order to improve balancing, especially having H2H play in mind. Previous versions were reported as beeing too difficult to win for the rebels, especially when played H2H. Now, does anyone want to test the new version H2H? I would be available as opponent, (usually) i can play several turns a day.
