The mystery of flight MH370

I'm speaking of the design. Not the manufacturing of such.
Typically when an economy becomes advanced, manufacturing (lower paying wage jobs) is farmed out to less developed countries. As the wages eventually increase in those countries over time (at least theoretically) the manufacturing will go back to the more advanced economy as wages become relatively equal or other costs make them equal. The auto industry is a good example of that. In the 70-80s many foreign manufacturers shipped their cars from Japan to the other countries where they were sold. Now almost all auto manufacturers produce closer to their base of sales. I think every major auto manufacturer has a facility in my country.

So what I was speaking about was the fact that the design of these items (which is where the real money and expertise is ) and many other items were created by a bunch of stupid, fat, lazy, uneducated Americans. The actual construction of said items were done in a nasty, stinky, sweat shop in south east Asia by a bunch of exploited children by a bunch of profit hungry bastards. Republican bastards. Got to add the Republicans part.

It's interesting to see that some of the computer manufacturing is coming back to the US. The new Mac Pro from Apple is manufactured in the US and it is rumored that the iPhone will be in a few years.

OK. But I sort of referrred to the fact that "non-americans" are hired by american firms to work in he US for them.

Same principle. In an advanced economy lower paying jobs are picked up by those who consider them a "good" job. If the minimum wage is 50 cents an hour in Guatemala, then cutting grass for $5 an hour seems like heaven. That happens in many European countries as well. Or a person in India who normally makes $10 an hour would jump all over a $12 tech support job for Microsoft. That same tech support for an American might be $15. Eventually those jobs should come back as wages rise in the foreign country. Theoretically. And that's a big theoretically.

Or you might be reffering to people who come to the US for work that are educated. Same thing again. If I lived in India, graduated from a good Indian college and made good grades and was offered a job by some company in Silicon Valley and a job in New Delhi, I would give the Silicon Valley job a hard look.
