The map continues to be "painted red"... as I stand at 0 for 4.

This will be on hiatus for a month or so as @Wellsonian will be away from FOG gaming sorting out some RL stuff.

We'll look at resuming when he returns.

BATTLE 5 went right down to the wire and ended in a close as it can get 61% - 59% victory for me ... fun, nerve-wracking battle.

Next up BATTLE 6 -- off to the Dark Ages as we head down to the French/Spanish border region for a clash of Franks (600 - 750 AD) vs Visigoths (622 - 717 AD)

Edit: Reset with later Visigoth army list.

Story of BATTLE 6: Goth cavalry for the win!! -- Big time! ... my Frank cavalry was overrun and obliterated for a 47% - 6% win for @Wellsonian

Next off to south-east ancient Mesopotamia and back for some more chariot races -- Achaenenid Persians vs Elamites!

Battle 7 ended in a Victory 47 - 13% for my Achaemenid Persian ... the Elamite army seemed just a little too light for this fight, the Persian "Immortals" cutting a swathe through the enemy ranks of archers.

For BATTLE 8 we move to ancient Anatolia -- my Thracians (680 - 461 BC) vs @Wellsonian 's Cimmerians (750 - 600 BC).
(I see a LOT of annoying horse archers in my immediate future... :2charge: )
