VILLERS-BOCAGE THROUGH THE LENS OF THE GERMAN WAR PHOTOGRAPHER
By Daniel Taylor
'After the Battle' series
1st Ed'n 1999
Publisher: Battle of Britain International Limited Church House
ISBN: 1 8770067 07 X

As the name implies, this publication is heavily illustrated with photographs telling the (results mostly of) the battle of Villers-Bocage. It includes detailed maps of the town both as illustrations and aerial photos, orders of battle and unit organization of the protagonists. At under 100 pages and mostly covered in photos, the reading is a brief afternoon. Very enjoyable and a boon to scenario creators as wall as armour model builders. It's the only one I have in the series - wish I had more. Definitely recommended.

Yeah it a great book. I used this and other books to tour the area and to get some great then and now shots.
