Why Germany lost WW1

Excellent post, supply is always a factor...seeing the change from if one wants to call it slow war to a faster type of war...yes supply would play a deciding factor.

Look at the spent shell casing from one location in a battle.

Look at the amount of Teller Mines left behind by the Germans in Sicily

Suppling is a huge under taking and without supplies you have no battles at lease not a two sided affair.

Sure supply is a factor, but if you keep the war short it won't be the deciding factor.

A short war? LOL There is no such thing...take a lesson from Iraq military...fade into the population and disrupt the conquerer for years...even after Bush's announcement that the war was over/ or they had won...it was not over for the troops.

When is a war over take WW2 we ended it 60+ years ago and in some aspects we are still fighting it...at lease the ideas behind the war...you can never defeat ideas good or bad...unless to kill everyone with the same ideas.
