Why I spend time playing Skyrim...

I forgot to add that - very much ON topic! - I also played Skyrim becaue I got nothing to do in all the CM campaigns I'm currently signed up for, not even the one hosted elsewhere.

That doesn't count since it takes only little of my time.

@ Earl of Grey :
I am surprised that you already "finished Skyrim" (may be you finished the main quest ?)... I am still running around Whiterun at level 9...lol Of course I play other things and never use fast travel for instance. The Official Strategic guide has a description of 500 pages of quests (and it's written in small letters...) not including the ones randomly generated by the Radiant engine !
I have Oblivion on my HD since 2006 and I can't say I have "finished" it...
Talking about Morrowind, a bunch of crazy guys are preparing for soon a complete overhaul for those who would like to replay..

Well... technically I have finished a bit mroe than 50% of all, avialble quests plus a fair share of randomly generated ones. I haven't found all Words of power because I haven't joined every available faction and not scoured every available dungeon (which isn't even possible in the first place), but I've been to every city and town and have done and seen almost everything that was interesting. My current level is 47. I'm probably gonna run around a bit more. but for the time being I'm finished. And I don't quite feel the need to do EVERY pssobile quest at the moment - why should I? maybe I'll paly throuhg it a second time and would rather have some stuff I haven't seen yet.

I agree with you, better keep some for the coming years...lol Also agree that it's better to play it again with another character and a different approach, and joining factions is a bit depending on this character. I make a first run as Nordic full warrior with almost no magic except some healing, so I joined the Companions in Whiterun and will have to choose a side later during the civil war ( most probably stormcloaks ...) Will probably make a second one as Wood Elf with strong points on archery and hiding plus alchemy, and then it will make sense to join thieves, the dark brotherhood and the Empire...
If I look at the time I spent on Morrowind and Oblivion, I will probably still be playing in 2 or 3 years from now (but I only play RPGs something like 5 hours a week, a lot less than flying World War 1 airplanes !!)
In fact I misunderstood your post, you have finished playing for the moment, but not finished the game...

I have to admit, though, that I still need to complete the Morrowind storyline and haven't played through Oblivion yet (although I started both a couple of times). Definitely on my list, though since I promised a good friend I'd play something I NEVER play in an RPG. Haven't decided on the race yet...

Anyway, a second Skyrim playthrough is still quite some time off and will most likely not happen before all the DLC has appeared and we'e seen a ton of good mods improving the experience. the game is all nice and well, but some things do irk me and should be improved or changed completely. Had a fun time and have already recommende it to others. And my wife happens to love Morrowind, too (she's one hell of a battlemage!).
