WINDOWS 10

Who is going to upgrade? My "get windows 10" icon popped up in my notification tray today. I did not know anything about this. Is it worth it? I know when I tried out Windows 8 it was horrendous. I had a hella time navigating through it.

My Stella had a lap top with W8....it want some getting use to......W7 for me at the moment ......I have heard it say
that W10 is very similar to W7

Waiting for the inevitable wave of bugs and glitches to be fixed. Giving it at least 6 months.

Since I read that users of Windows 10 Home Edition will have to accept automatic updates I decided I would stick with Windows 7.
I understand that Windows 8 users will be more prone to update. According to MS record, every other OS is a good one, so Windows 10 should be...

Windows 8.1 isn't bad either, just a total new UI which I find hard to get used to. But it never has failed or something like that which even XP did once in a while.

After 18 months Windows 8.1 has 15% market share, even MS admits it's a flop. I've read many reports of problems on my flight sims forums with device drivers. I never used it myself so this is no personal opinion.
I still have XP on a second PC and for me at least it never failed. But maybe I'm just lucky...
