The KV-220 Tier V has excellent armor for the tier and with some gold rounds crushes anything it can see at this level. It's a little slow, but there is always something isn't there?
As for the KV-5 it has become my favorite tank of all time, and I've driven a few. It bounces rounds like nothing I've ever seen and punches holes into everything I shoot at. Front armor for both turret/hull is 180! Gold rounds for the 107mm are rated @ 219pen/300 damage and a load time of only 8 sec! Fastest ROF of any Hvy I've seen. Wouldn't you like a Tier VIII heavy that has a speed of 40 KPH? Yes, yes you would. Get it now because it is not available for purchase from the tech tree later. The last time I saw it offered was over 6 months ago. Get in a firefight and watch the red tank scramble to back away.
But wait, there's more! For that prices you also get 30 days of a premium account. I really don't think I've ever seen a better offer. You're welcome.

Niiiiice. I am still working on mine. I think my KV1S is the closest.
I play random and have only platooned three times in two years. So for me a Mark of Excellence is a huge accomplishment.

It may be a little hard to see, but I just received my first "mark of excellence" on the KV1. I got a star on my barrel for doing damage on average in excess of 65% of the other KV1 drivers. Sometimes its the little things ...

I read somewhere that the barrel awards also earns your more battle exp.
Good job Nort! Those marks are hard to earn, even more so in a tank as popular as the KV-1.
Patch 9.3 out. Better fire graphics for one. Also some new tanks. Got myself a Walker Bulldog. Now I just have to learn to play it. The KV-85 is great fun, and there are a significant number of new awards and ribbons.

The mod installer I got here http://aslain.com/ is current and all the mods work just fine. I am impressed.
Oh, I got the T-150 and while I still contend it is a bit slow with sluggish traverse speeds I got two easy kills the first time out.

The Hellcat isn't as nimble now and I swear that they tweaked the accuracy on the 90mm. Went back to the Jackson for the time being which has the same 90mm but still shoots straight.
Yes. The aiming reticle is bigger and expands something on the order of 30% more with each time you fire or move the tank. When couple with its traverse and speed nerf, the Hellcat is just a shadow of its former self.
Like I said, snatch up the Panther/M-10. It's the "new" Hellcat.
Oh, btw. Aslain's mod installer seems to be updated almost daily, altough you don't need to do it unless you see something new you really want. He works hard at it and it is his only income source atm. I PayPal'd him $25 and felt good doing it. I just love his mod manager.

Didn't see any engine sound mods yet but the Minion voice mod is great. I will have to throw him some cash once the spending account recovers.
