World of Tanks

Ah. Any of you still active I can team up withß my own caln more or less deserted me because of a variety of reasons and I'd like to keep on playing...
 
I have played this game recently and i am very amazed to see that how good this game is.I have not played Tanks before and its ride is very superb and just two days before i got the beta of this game so it is a very strange experience.
 
Well, I've been rolling agaion for about two weeks now but mostly with a single friend, so our successes are comparativley meager. Tell me when you're on and we might be able to do some driving together!

Nope, no dad yet. And technically I'm still Deputy Commander of my current clan, even if almost no one's playing anymore. But maybe we can team up some night.
 
Unfortunately due to my present location where bandwidth is not available, I can not plat WoT....but when I get back to the States I plan on getting caught up with alot of gaming !!!
 
I'm always playing, but my highest tank is tier V.
I'd be happy to team up with you guys if you want.
 
Well, I can now Play WoT on the EU server....building back uo the tiers, up to the StuG, Lee, Priest and KV-1. I have high Ping issues, but its playable.
 
What a hoot! I've only been playing a couple of days now, but the addiction is strong!
Great fun to drive a tank around playing hide-and-seek with the enemy team.
My successes are few but when I get a kill it is a real adrenalin rush. :)
I love games that have a lot of equipment choices and between all the tanks and their parts I couldn't be happier.
I've got a pretty serious internet connection via Comcast so even given my average pc it has worked like a charm.
That's it for now. Gotta go take my M3 out for a battle!
 
Playing is free and you can really enjoy the game that way if there are any financial concerns. Or, like me, you will want to spend a bit to help hurry along your advancement.

I think it is an absolute must to buy into the Premium Account as it gets you 50% more experience and credits per battle. Runs about $9/mo or so. Then, you will probably want a little gold and that costs as little as $9/bunch as well. The "Store" will show you all the options.

Anything you buy extra only allows you options for purchasing and equiping vehicles. It makes no changes to the battlefield, other than good tanks usually beat poor tanks of the same tier. Buying stuff allows you to get "gooder" tanks sooner, that's all.
 
Okay ... how not to make a good first impression ... downloaded the game ... wanted to start it up to have a look around and can't get past an update screen with this message:

Critical Error.
Failed to download updates via HTTP.
The application cannot continue.
For details, see log file.

Looked at their forums -- looks like other players have same problem -- guess will give this a miss for a while.
