Hello all,

I'm Deke from Nashville, Tennessee, USA. I have been interested in military history for a good many of the fifty-odd years I have trod this Earth. I go all the way back to the time when you could still buy Avalon Hill games new. I enjoyed the Atomic Games series and was sorry to see those peter out. I spent some time in the Eve Online world and was fascinated by the application of tactics over long (and short) periods of time in that game.

Just recently I started playing Combat Mission Battle for Normandy. It is good to get back to the Third Reich versus the world gaming universe.

One thing I have always enjoyed was playing against other folks, not just an AI. A Google search on for "Combat Mission Battle Normandy multiplayer" came up references to this group.

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played against other humans - as you already know. ;)
But in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to

I too bought and played all the early Avalon Hill games.
I think I had just about all of them up to Advanced Squad leader.
What a rule book!
Thank god for Battlefront. :)
