Hi there! My name is Alex and I'm a Brit living in Calgary Canada.

I've been playing strategy and wargames for the better part of 20 years now but am just dipping my toes into the CM franchise! I've mainly been playing CM SF2 but am interested in getting a WW2 varient (if there is one that is more popular for H2H's?)

Looking forward to getting to know the community and getting some games going!
 
Welcome. I'm a CMFI fan but I get the impression there are plenty of opponents for all the CM games.
 
Thanks! Yeah that's the feeling I get too. If that's the case then I'll just grab the one that interests me most then expand from there.
 
Welcome! I'm also relatively new to the series but I've found Battle for Normandy's singleplayer content to be the most accessible of the WWII titles and there's a lot of expansion module extras for it too.

I've not played any H2H on SF2 yet but I've got all the modules. If you fancy a game, just drop me a message

My suggestion as to a WW2 CM game to get is get the area that interests you.
While all the games use the same engine the different TO&Es and terrain and climate make each "feel" different
