Return to Magna Graecia - Turn 2

Meanwhile, during war council in the bunker back at Boviamum:
Pyrrhus: Sorry, you've got to go at the end of this year.
A(le)xander: Eh?
Pyrrhus: Yes, you're genuinely miserable at sieging.
A(le)xander: But I've won three field battles for you, crushing the Romans twice this year alone!
Pyrrhus: That too.
A(le)xander: Now I don't really understand...?
Pyrrhus: You see? Third reason for dropping you.
Pyrrhus: NO ONE CAN BE GREATER THAN PYRRHUS THE-YET-NO-SO-GREAT! I'M DESTINED TO SURPASS ALEXANDER, BUT HOW CAN I WHEN MY GENERALS DO THAT BEFORE ME?!?

... to be continued...

Last words of A(le)xander are not yet said....

Pyrrhus Army II MARCH to Maleventum

(Die roll modifiers: Friendly City +2) Die roll: 3 + 2 = 5 (March fails as needed 9 or higher to continue past Boviamum.

This concludes TURN 2 with Pyrrhus at the gates of both Rome & Capua... the Roman Republic's survival is in extreme peril!

-- might only get around to setting up TURN 3 some time tomorrow.

… Now they are…

… He uttered none.

A clear message to all Italians and residents in Sicily: General A(le)xander now sleeps with the fishes.

Pyrrhus has no tolerance for failure. Or for (other people’s) success. He is destined to become known a history’s first really Bad Boss. Management by Fear.
