THREE KINGDOMS - FOG Medieval Campaign - TURN 4

AGRIGENTO plays Siege Action at Reitano -- > No effect

------------------------------------------------

SYRACUSA plays March Operation:

Syracusa Army I marches from Adana to Calogera
(Modifiers: Friendly City +1, Hostile City -1, Siege Train -2) Die roll: 5 - 2 = 3 ---> March Successful

Syracusa Army I revealed as strength 16.

-------------------------------------------------

@Nathangun -- we have contact, does your Army I stand and fight at Calogera, or withdraw?

Turn 3 Camp 09.jpg

CATANIA Army I withdraws to Licata.

SYRACUSA gets free Diplomacy Roll on Calogera due to enemy army withdrawal.

(Modifiers: Friendly Army adjacent +1, Siege Train +1)

Die roll: 6 + 2 = 8 --> Calogera flips to NEUTRAL

Also added Momentum point for AGRIGENTO I forgot about for @chiquichops victory early on in this turn.

RETREAT
If the defender instead wishes to retreat, he may freely retreat to an adjacent space (but not the space from which the enemy advanced). Such retreat now gives the attacker two options:
1. Take a free Diplomacy roll to influence the Minor or Major Town (the locals are sure to be impressed by this mighty display of force) and end movement here; or…
2. Continue movement, if the previous roll allowed it.

---------------------------------------------------------------

@Nathangun -- back over to you.

SYRACUSA plays Siege Operation on Calogero.
(Modifiers: Siege Train +2)
Die roll: 9 + 2 = 11 --> Success --> flips to Syracusa control

Attrition roll 2 --> Syracusa Army I loses ONE strength point.

-----------------------------------------------------

@Nathangun -- back to you.

What are the forced march rules again?
I have 4 gold remaining, can I invest that somehow?

The 4 Gold could be used for a Winter Siege or used next TURN to buy new armies.

Here Forced March rules:

FORCED MARCH OPERATION
At any time, if a side has run out of MARCH Operation tokens, it can exchange any DIPLOMACY or SIEGE token for a FORCED MARCH operation.

This represents an improvised movement of your army without logistical preparations - trying to live off the land etc .... with all the effects of attrition, desertions etc.

In addition to the normal MOVEMENT DIE ROLL, there will be a FORCED MARCH ATTRITION ROLL.

FORCED MARCH ATTRITION ROLL (1d10):
1 - 2: No losses
3 - 5: Army loses 1 strength point
6 - 8: Army loses 2 strength points
9 - 10: Army loses 3 strength points

CATANIA does Forced March Trapani --> Scavuzzo -- Army suffers 2 strength points attrition loss.

AGRIGENTO Army marches Reitano --> Trapani.

SYRACUSA plays March Operation -- Army I to march Calogera --> Licata

(Modifiers: Cities +1/-1, Siege Train -2) -- Rolls 2 --> FAIL :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
