I just wanted to say hi to everyone. It is good to be here. It is always nice to find a place full of nice, warm people when you live in the rain capital of the USA (just outside Seattle).

I have played a lot of CM/CMx2/ and various other games, but to be honest I am still at a newer player level as I haven't had the time I want to dedicate to learning it. So hopefully you won't mind playing someone who still sometimes makes rookie mistakes.

Also, hopefully my opponents wont mind, I tend to make Let's Play videos for other games I play, and a few combat simulations. I am hoping to get better at it (its a little hobby, but the spouse is happy I entertain myself). If at any time you are uncomfortable with me posting videos about our games let me know and I am happy to not do it.
 
Welcome. I am sure you find your opponents more than willing to play you no matter what skill level you think you are at.

Welcome aboard Mate! If you look around you will find some of our members have gallery threads where they post in game pics, you could do the same with your vids.

Oh yeah, I loved living outside Seattle back in the 90's. Since I'm not made of sugar the rain didn't bother me. And I loved the Olympic peninsula and it's rainforests.

Good to have you with us! :)

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played against other humans
- but in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to
check out and good people to meet. :)

hi, I too live in the pacific northwest. I'm south of seattle in the " Aroma of Tacoma ". I would love the videos being posted. I think I am a pretty good player or so. Lets hope it won't rain much. hahaha
