Yep it's a dump truck tub, abeit only a small one - Cat 777. 5.5M/18 feet wide. Obviously not new, the mine site wanted a couple of them for surplus mill ball storage.
The float was kinda overkill for this job, it can take up to 60 tonnes (132k lbs) but the tub only weighed about 20, still - with the road not being the best and a pretty decent crosswind all the way it rocked and rolled a fair bit!

Yep definitely big sky country, love it! :)(y)

First escorted oversize I've done, interesting work and I definitely slapped a few marker posts - fortunately nothing bigger. :p

Little bit of an overhang each side.

Bonus pic of some poor bugger, fortunately I don't think anyone was in it when it burnt down

Beautiful country there

Only in Australia can you go fishing, catch a shark and then have it stolen off your line by the resident crocodile that the locals have named, 'boofhead'.

Australia is going into it's standard election in just under two weeks. That means...

People overseas - "Democracy Sausage" is an Australian tradition at each general election where you pick up sausage sizzle* on the way out of voting. (Or on the way in if you have to wait in a queue for a while). Over the years it's expanded to include cake stalls and other foody goodness to pick from. Given most polling places are local schools, usually it's organised by the local community with money going towards their local libraries or the kids sporting team. There's also a dedicated national website to track who is selling what so you can plan your voting day around food options if you want. Voting is compulsory in Australia, so always good to plan ahead.

Aussies - The usual website is being updated as info steadily comes in on who is doing what.

But in Western Australia it's:

(It better be in a proper roll and not sliced bread on the west coast or all you'll get is some grumpy sandgropers :D ).

We could all learn from that.
