EMPIRE BUILDERS: Field of Glory 2 Medieval Campaign - COMPLETED!!

Four Empires fight it out over control of medieval Europe and the Levant in a beer and pretzels style campaign.

Players taking part:

RED Empire: @Nathangun and @mTk

BLUE Empire: @HOA_KSOP and @Badger73

GREEN Empire: @Mad Mike and @Alpha Zwo

WHITE Empire: @Rico @Wellsonian

Territories have been randomly drawn and here's what the starting set up looks like.

Every turn, each Empire in turn gets to declare ONE attack into a enemy territory adjacent to one of their own.

In the opening Round the sequence of challenges is randomly drawn:
1. GREEN
2. BLUE
3. RED
4. WHITE

(From turn TWO, the order will be determined by results from previous battles -- the side with the highest winning % margin of their best battle result will go first and so on)

No Empire can launch an attack INTO a territory already under attack, or FROM a territory that is under attack.

BATTLES

Campaign uses Field of Glory II Medieval and Reconquista and optionally FOG II: Wolves At The Gates to resolve battles.

When it's his turn, the ATTACKER posts a challenge for a medium size skirmish battle using ANY forces/armies APPROPRIATE to the geographic location of the battle set in any period covered by the 3 DLC's used in this campaign.

Map setting should also be appropriate (can be pot luck as well) -- settings can be negotiated in a gentlemanly manner if desired.

The ATTACKER selects the armies (and allies if wanted) and the DEFENDER can chose which side he likes to play.

Both sides assign a player to fight the battle, post the agreed Challenge on FOG2 and proceed to fight.

ANY level of Victory and either the attacker conquers the territory or the defender holds on to it if defending.

TIME LIMITS
There is a strict time limit of TWO WEEKS per battle round (Slitherine manages to enforce that quite well) - at a stretch THREE if there are time zone difficulties. (counted from when all challenges are posted and agreed on)

SCORING:

Campaign ends when one EMPIRE faction is eliminated - the remaining Empires then add up their scores:

ONE point per territory controlled
TWO bonus points per region controlled

There are FIVE regions up for grabs (indicated by colours on the territory name labels) - see map above.

Next step is issuing battle challenges:

EXAMPLE:

WHITE vs BLUE: attacking CASTILLE from GRANADA
Andalusian 1050-1154 AD vs Catalan 1050-1136 AD
Map: Mediterranean Agricultural
DLC: Medieval Reconquista
Attacking Player: Rico

It seems that HOA has found a battlefield position he likes...and will apparently keep using it until I disabuse him of the notion.
OK.

Just further for your army to run after I rout you.

Now how does that song go? 'If you go out in the woods today you're in for a big surprise...."
