Facman Update

I am now out of the hospital completely, staying with my brother until my flight home in 2 weeks.
Still working on getting stronger and learning how to make my muscles do what I want, but coming along at a good clip. I even have started walking without a cane occasionally to get my strength up.

That sounds good, Jodymax - every day it will get better and better though. Keep on training!

How many fingers am I showing here ...? - Yes, gimme five! :D

Greetings to Geno! :)

Glad to hear that you are out. Great job and keep up the hard work in getting that muscle memory back as well as muscle strength.

Good to here your doing well... Praying things hold steady for a while for you.

It speaks and is alive! It is NUMBERZ! :) How do You do Yourself, comrade? Long time nothing heard of You. Hope You are in better state again now. Best wishes from Germany!

GReetings :)

My flight home will be on the 17th of Dec..
I spent most of yesterday walking around the house without my cane to build my strength.
I am getting stronger by the day, but will still need to go to Physical Rehab & Cardio Rehab when I get home.
Oh yeah, I lost 40 pounds while I was down, unfortunately it was almost all muscle.

Sounds like a very merry Christmas for you and the family. Keep up the rehab battle. It is the hardest one to fight and the easiest to give up on. Resiliency should be your motto.

40 pounds? Don't worry, I'm reliably informed* by medical professionals** that a hearty Christmas Roast and glazed leg ham adds muscle tone. :)

* was informed but not by reliable people.
** medical certificates were dubious. University of Nigeria is real right?

Have a good Christmas mate.

be at home for Christmas it's the first good therapy for you heart. Surely in your pantry there will be enough to recover the lost weight (sparingly).

Once again a Few Good Men met for dinner at Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay, this time joined by my brother Geno since I still can't drive.
It was another evening of fellowship, punctuated by the humor that only good friends know how to generate.
Thanks @Nort & @mTk for the warm welcome back, and another evening validating the ethos of the Few Good Men.
