Hello @all,
I'm the Doc and a Strategy Game fan since I first played C&C on my Playstation 1. I'm fascinated with all stuff about military.
In the search for a 'realistic' game one of the first that made a real impression on me was 'Operation Flashpoint', now ARMA. But I hoped for something similar as a strategy game. So then there came 'Hidden Stroke II' (whichs still has awesome soundeffects) and I find it is the best of the isometricgames like 'Blitzkrieg', 'Stalingrad', 'Sudden Strike', etc.. My friend and I played it LAN for as long as our parents would allow it.
In recent years I played the other 'ARMA' titles (2, Operation Arrowhead, 3, ... | hoping for 4 btw). 'Men of War' series, 'Call to Arms',... And the release of CMSF2 on steam brought me here. One of the best games I've ever seen. Got it on 25th and until today I'm already 37,5 h in. Watching the YT - Series from 'Usually Hapless', joining the discord, searching for Mods (which is the way i found this forum).
I'd like to get into Multiplayer and find some likeminded people, because the friend mentioned earlier was the only one of mine which enjoyed this kind of games like I did. Unfortunately we don't have much contact anymore so.
P.S. I don't know what "Turn Rate" means so I just chose the one in the middle ;-)
