I'm from Canada and spend summers there but am currently teaching high school English (poetry, literature, etc.) in Tripoli.

I haven't played a lot of historical wargames but I've always enjoyed playing turn-based strategy games. I've enjoyed reading a number of military strategy classics (i.e. Sun Tzu and the like).

I saw CMBO on PC Gamer's "100 Greatest Games of all Time", bought it recently and it seemed like FGM might be a good place for information about it and for PBEM games.

Thanks for setting up and maintaining this site!

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played against other humans. ;)
But in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to
check out and good people to meet. :)


P.S.: CMBO....? :eek: Really?

OK, why not - but you should try the "CMx2" titles like "Combat Mission : Battle for Normandy" and "Combat Mission : Fortress Italy".
There are GALAXIES between the 11 years old CMBO and the new designed CMBN. (Check out YouTube videos for example, for to have a first impression). ;)
