Could be a few like that if they've just found the forum because of the Tourney.

Though I agree with @Bootie about the strict, post and be an active member or lose your membership position, there was one little exception that I have thought about raising with the boss behind the scenes but I'll share it here. Overseas deployments. We have a few members in the military (I think), is could we institute a rule where if a member knows they will be 'out of the loop' for an extended period but will be back. Some kind of arrangement where the Cronjob for them doesn't kick in until say a month after their expected return date?

Just a thought.
 
and a side note on the cron timeframe... I feel I can talk to this as I was a very active member with almost 2800 posts, etc... and RL got me down and the big 'Cron' got me a few months back... I believe the timeframe for being 'cron-ed' is fine and should be kept the same... When your RL issues allow you to come back, then you come back... it worked for me and I found it fine... its better to keep the member list clean and manageable, and there is enough info on the site about the 'axing' for non conformity...

Just my 1.5 cents... :)
