RECONQUISTA: FOG Medieval Tourney

RECONQUISTA is a small invitational tourney for four players which will be played between myself, @chiquichops , @Nelson1812 and @Wellsonian .
(all players I have regular ongoing FOG games going with)

Very simple concept -- each player represents one of the major Spanish kingdoms (Castille, Leon, Aragon and Portugal) and fights his way down the track to try to be the first to capture GRANADA.
Any level victory will advance you down the track. If you are defeated by the Muslim opponent, you have to re-fight the battle for that spot until you win and advance.

Every turn all player will each fight a battle against a Muslim army (each round all battles are fought with the same settings (medium size) and armies for each player, which I will provide -- we'll cycle through all the available forces and time frames covering the period on FOG Medieval -- this will give us a nice variety of forces to play with)

Every turn each player will ALSO play as Muslim opponent to one of his competitors, trying to slow him down. (we will at first random draw opponents, then cycle players through so everybody plays everybody)
Any level of Muslim victory will knock the Christian player one square back along his track.

From turn 3 to turn 6, the Muslim side will start launching one counter-attack battle per turn to try and knock back the advancing Christian armies.
At first, it'll be the furthest advanced player who is attacked (if equal, then random draw is made) -- then all player's tracks will be attacked in turn. (no one will face more than one counter-attack.

This will run for maximum 8 turns -- or ends once a player captures Granada. If two players reach Granada at the same time it's a tie for first place (or we can have a decider final battle).

I've done the player draws:

Don @Rico for the County of PORTUGAL.
Don @chiquichops for the Kingdom of LEON.
Don @Nelson1812 for the Kingdom of CASTILLE.
Don @Wellsonian for the Kingdom of ARAGON.

The Leonese forces win a glorious victory over the infidel in Leon. Thanks for a good fight @Nelson1812. I was lucky to get that map with the lake covering my flank.

The first two battles have been completed.

The righteous forces of Al-Andalus have defeated the infidel invaders from Castille in BURGOS.

The Kingdom of Leon has (re)captured the province of LEON.

Battle 4 report: The forces of Al Andalus defeated Aragon at Barcelona in a bloody fight that left both sides in tatters. Death to the Christian infidel! (and thanks to @Wellsonian for a good match).

The advance of the Kingdom of Aragon into BARCELONA has been thwarted by the Muslim armies.

Just the battle for GALICIA to resolve -- we're pretty close.

We move on to TURN 2.

The armies of Portugal and Leon advance on to PORTO and SALAMANCA respectively -- Castille and Aragon have another go at BURGOS and BARCELONA.

The random draw has paired us off nicely - basically become mirror battles. ;) (with different maps)

Crushing win for the forces of LEON in SALAMANCA -- I think I must've offended the gods of the dice in this one -- appalling rolls & results on my attacks :( ... but you take it as it comes.

And I was dreading that last turn till it happened. The cross of St James appeared in the sky and shook the infidel to the core, distracting him enough to fudge a handful of double sixes on the sly, all hail the valiant knights of God! etc. etc.....

The infidel forces of Sultan Ibn Bin Al-Chiquichops has defeated the armies of Portugal at PORTO -- well played, @chiquichops , your infantry won the day.
