...looks like you're stuck with yet another British gamer on your hands.
I picked up my first CM game probably just over a year ago after watching the likes of Josey Wales, Hapless and PanzerPajamas on YouTube and thinking "hey, that looks fun and fill the tabletop-shaped hole in my gaming life". Been playing Red Thunder and Fortress Italy on and off between uni work and other games since then, having fun playing panzer pop-up and generally getting my pixeltruppen murdered in a grand attempt to move my drinks cabinet that one step closer to Berlin (or Moscow, or down the boot of Italy, or... wherever - its a well traveled drinks cabinet, OK?).
Now that I'm on holiday from uni for a bit, I thought I'd look into picking up some quick battles for a slightly more interesting CM experience. I'm not that experienced but hey, you learn from making mistakes right?
Currently have RT and FI, but I'm hoping to expand my collection with FB or BN at some point. Aside from CM I generally play HOI3 with BlackICE, EUIV occasionally, Dwarf Fortress, and Rimworld. I'm also learning GG's War in the West but errr... that's gonna take a bit!
I'm pretty active on Paradox's HOI3 BlackICE forum (as well as making the occasional post on other Paradox forums) under my old internet name Wizard12, if any of your folks hang out over there.
Will probably be less active when the new year rolls around because final year of undergrad and stuff, but until then should manage a few turns a day.
See you several miles behind the front lines in a safe and cozy command bunker.
