Hi guys. I'm Mark from Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada) and I am pleased to discover this site. I have been on the Blitz for several years but never ventured this way before. I do recognize some nicknames on here that I know from the Blitz and Battlefront.
Although a noob here, I am no stranger to CM. I remember buying CMBO when it first came out and was blown away by it - there was nothing else like it on the market, before or since.
I have played in 4 campaigns with a dedicated umpire: with CMx1 there was a Barbarossa and a Primosole Bridge campaign. More recently, with CMx2, I have participated as a unit commander in a Market Garden campaign and the Canadian Commander in an Ortona one. I find campaigns of this nature to be the natural progression from the stand alone battles, where one battle means so much more. With winter coming and therefore unfortunately having to put my Harley Davidson in hiding soon, I will have more time for campaign participation, if indeed these are popular here.
I am a retired infantry officer, having served my military career with the Royal Canadian Regiment. I'm happy to be aboard!
