Hi guys, gals ( not sure if there are any). I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m really looking forward to being a part of this group. I’ve been war gaming since my teens, playing the old hex board stuff. I really got into ASL but then had to stop when I joined the US Coast Guard. Now I play Combat Mission and a few other PC games when I can. I’ve never played CM H2H & I’d really like to try. I must admit though I’m not very good but I’m learning. I have most the CM games so I’m pretty open. Also I’m home most days so I’m pretty flexible with time. I look forward to meeting you all, This seems like a great group.

Then, post your first request for a match either here or at the forum for the game(s) you own.

Just a word to the wise, announcing that you're not very good is like dripping blood in the water - (a few invites to play "friendly" ladder games is almost guaranteed :cool: ).

In all seriousness this is a friendly bunch of (genderless) people who tend to get along.

Not necessarily. Most FGM members will respect your admission as a novice. We'll know to be patient and help you learn when you ask for pointers and feedback. Ask for some non-Ladder matches to start off and build you confidence from there. Good luck and good gaming. Glad to have you with us.
