A little introduction:
I got my first wargames, Tactic II and Gettysburg from Avalon Hill in 1959. Yep, 60 years ago and have been playing ever since.
Most of my gaming is board gaming with Advanced Squad Leader and the Battalion Combat System from "The Gamers"/MMP being my favorites. I've created several VASSAL modules for board games.
I have for the last couple years been playing Battlefront's Strategic Command and enjoying it.
A couple years ago I downloaded the demo of CM and liked it especially the scale but time was short. Got some time now so plan on getting back into it. Will download the full Battle for Normandy series when I get home this weekend. After some solo learning games hope to get some PBEM games going.
Found the youtube videos for CM and have been enjoying them, getting me excited to get home and start gaming!
