That would have been a pretty cool addition to an Oz Top Gear if they had done that! Our version in the US wasn't that great either. Preferred to watch the Brit one.

Yeah Roos arent dumb. Story from farmers down where my folks live say if a roo is being chased by a farmers dog they race for a water source and jump in. The dog will usually continue to chase into the water allowing the roo to use their greater mass to drown the dog.

Other than that bloke is lucky the fella didn't use his hind legs.

Yeh, roos are bloody nasty if they kick you... the narrator is not joking when he says 'disembowel'.
 
Australia, where until later this summer you could walk all over the politicians at work on a grass covered roof. The fuctional areas of Parliament House is sort of underground thanks to clever design. And I guess this also means we have the only Government building in the world where your dog can literally take a dump on top of the politicans.

Following a protest last month that disrupted a parliament sitting, they decided to enact fencing around the entire complex for security reasons. It's a decision that hasn't got a lot of public support so has led to some weird forms of further protests such as the time honoured tradition of rolling down the lawn covered hill.

Doesn't work in California. We just passed an initiative allowing for recreational use of grass...uh, wait. You didn't mean, oh, never mind.
so now you can roll the grass while rolling down the grass? Fun trip - roll in oposite directions to prevent spillage!

And would you believe, 4 nufties had to be rescued from their cars after driving through flood waters... probably including the last 2 in the vid at the montague bridge underpass?
 
I got caught in this while I was out on my bike! Thankfully in the Dandenong ranges, so higher ground, though I made a few water crossings myself... Not out my depth though!
