The battle for PERSIS has ended ... @Wellsonian wins a match of really fun battles by the narrowest of a +3% margin ... (Wellsonian +33% , Rico +30% ) ... came down to a few timely unit rallies in the end to shave off the victory margins.

Alas, MAGNA GRAECIA has fallen to the RED empire ... superior @Nelson1812 tactics and and absolute shit-show of dice rolls (losing 3 leaders in as many turns and losing EVERY one-on-one encounter of equal legionary units in the opening contact turns) ... it could only go one way. :runner:

Anyway, the REDS will soon have stranglehold on the western Med it seems.

I fear the deep. dark Teutonic forests and swamps of GERMANIA have swallowed up Consuls Badgerus and Wellsonius's legions...

Couriers and runners keep getting lost in the woods . . . :eek:

In truth, our turn rate has been very slow; one per day and none last weekend. We still have 9/10 turns to go in two very close contests. It will likely continue for at least another week.
