MODs & add-ons

Thanks DoubleD. If there is an op this sunday I will be able to join. Im woundering how to join the server etc (recal reading somewhere that players could add you as a friend on steam to get sorted out).

There is an op, I just setup a briefing thread. Mod details etc. are in there. What's your Steam avatar name? I'll get an invite for the FGM group sent to you and I can invite you to the server from there. alternatively you can find it under The FGM - DD in the normal list. Just make sure you are not filtering out PW protected servers. I'll PM you the PW.

Here are some really well done mods I've been messing around with recently.

HLC Small Arms. The best weapons released so far imo. The AK, AR and Battle Rifle (M14s, FALs, G3s) packs are things of beauty: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?172850-Toadie-s-SmallArms-and-Animations-for-Arma3
RH M4/M16s for filling out the more standard ARs: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=23277
Lighting fixes for the A3MP maps that give them more of the Arma 2 look: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?181226-A2-Island-Lighting-Fixes

Has anyone tried out RHS Escalation? I recommend it. There's a lot of content in it, and it will only get better as they continue to work on it. It contains a plethora of current Russian and American equipment. One of the cool things about it is that they've implemented a rudimentary FCS for the Russian tanks, as well as one for the Abrams. http://www.rhsmods.org/

Need some help here guys. I reinstalled playwithsix and downloaded all required mods to my FGM collection. Now my game is on my C drive. I would like to install mods onto my larger F drive. If this is possible what should my path say in the 'game settings / mod directory' in playwithsix. Right now I think it is defaulting to my C/username/documents folder.

On Playwithsix, top right hand corner -> options -> settings -> game settings -> mods directory 'over type directory'

I've never tried it so don't know if it works, but give it a try.
