Rico - Did you receive my latest file? I had some internet trouble over the weekend but the file seems to have uploaded ok. Please let me know. It would suck if we were both waiting on each other

How are you guys finding this.... Im targetting balance issues.
I'm still out of commission in the CM dept, but much better balance than the first go around so far.
Playing well so far ... probably at a tipping point ... not sure how far some bad deployments on my part will punish me ... got the first paras trying to penetrate the village.
Didn't help that my German mortars fire mission went waaaaaaaaaaaaay off target

As far a balance goes I think it is good. Play difference between Rico and myself I think is the difference so far, just as it should be. It is very bloody and those germans seem very hard to supress.

I have just been informed of an upcoming work trip which will impact my ability to finish this game as soon as we would all like. I will head off on Thursday and be gone for a week 11-12 days. During this time I will have very limited internet and will be likely be unable to submit any turns. Sorry about that.
We should be able to get another 3 turns in before then though which may signal which way the game will tip.

Ah... the game just tipped decisively I think. We will know for definite in a turn or two.
Sorry Pallebahtep -- missed your turn file last night -- was focusing on processing CM: Risk campaign.
Looks like we may done a bit of damage in latest turns... hard to tell with all this FOW all over the place.

I am still waiting for Facman to come back online. From what I have seen so far, and it is probably still too early to tell, the Germans may be a bit too strong now. My Amis are getting pretty wiped out before I even jump off into town. Time will tell.

They were only changed from Green to Regular. Pointless having green troops as they just melt at the slightest contact. Perhaps I will need to adjust their head count but will wait for Rico to provide some input.

My feelings are kinda similar actually. My forces are just about spent, while Rico obviously think I have another platoon hiding the way he is oblittering the country side around me

I have at this point no idea of allied strength ... maybe one way is to disorganise Axis forces more so that they are less ready for Allied attack?
Aye, as are my troops as well. While Nort is not aware, his fire has been very effective and I am not sure I can hold the objectives free of his troops. Now that may not be a bad thing regarding the scenario design, since the victor will then be decided on who punished his opponent more.

Well if you are both saying the other is doing well the balance must be there or therabouts. I will look at getting the AI plans sorted over the weekend for hopefully a Monday/Tuesday release.
