The 1st FGM Duplicate CMBN Tournament

Hey Scipio,

No problems on my end. I am not upset. My apologies if delays were a bother for you. We both had large pauses in there, but I know in the last month after your vacation I got hit with a lot of new responsibility and a new position in my RL. If my pauses were too much to take I do apologize.

I did review the dates on all the files. I would be happy to discuss the turn rate if you like.

OK fellas, please update the status of the unfinished games.
I am looking at calling a Ceasefire to round one on Sunday, Sept 1st.
I will entertain allowing for games to finish shortly after round 2 begins, if you are close to finishing.

How far along are you? We may need to bring in a sub if we don't get a response from the Dude.
It looks like the Dude last posted on 27 July. Does that coincide with your last turn?
When I look at his activity, it says he was last seen yesterday???
 
Well if you CF'd, there should be a screenie. Lacking that, I'm open to how we handle this problem, as it leaves us one player and a match short.
Go ahead and see if you can't establish commo with him and figure out where we are.
If necessary, would you be willing to play 2 games simultaneously, Retaking Vierville and the next scenario in order to keep up?

Ok fellas, my computer is back up and we need to get this tourney back underway.

We have 2 unfinished games outstanding. Please report on your status. If your opponent has disappeared let me know, if you lost track, let me know. If anyone has lost interest, let me know.

In a worst case scenario, I may have to bring in some new players. Aulette & General Specific have expressed an interest, and I can fit them in as needed.
 
Hiho, I go on holiday from tomorow til 13-10-14, just for the case that next round will begin.
 
Thanks for the heads up Scipio. There will be no problem with that as we are still awaiting responses from two groups of gamers.
 
OK, here's the latest news on the Tourney.
There are two games outstanding. I have attempted to contact the 4 players involved and heard back from only 2. Unfortunately, neither of which were playing each other. Topps advised me that Real Life has impacted his ability to continue, and is withdrawing from the tourney. Bootie advised me that he will accept whatever I need to do to keep the tourney running. With the delays already experienced, I'd rather not bring someone in to start from scratch with Bootie unless both he and his replacement are willing to play two games at once to catch and keep up with the rest. So with that in mind, I will ask Bootie and a replacement player if they agree to play 2 games simultaneously. If the answer is no, then we shall continue the tourney with 10 players on each side. I hope to have an answer within 2 days, so that we might jump start this tourney on Sunday.
 
We are set to start the 2nd round of the tournament. My apologies for the delays due to my move and computer malfunction.
We have lost some of the original players, but the tourney will continue with groups now composed of 11 players.
There is one game outstanding in the first round, which will be played simultaneously with the 2nd round, so the standings I post later tonight will not be final until that last game is concluded.

The scenario for the 2nd round will be..."H2H No Exit". (found below)
