Bootie and I have decided to upgrade our series of Random-Everything All-Armour QB's into a campaign.
I whipped up this little mirrored map representing the neighbouring states of The Bootie Republic and The Rico Empire.
The war is started with a border incident at the little frontier town of Glockenspiel where according to Fox News, the nefarious imperialist socialist forces of the Bootie Republic have staged an outrageous provocation... while according to CNN, the militaristic fascist stormtroopers of the Rico Empire have blatantly violated the Treaty of Peace, Everlasting Friendship and Brotherhood brokered by the UN several years ago.
Things will escalate from there until either one of the national capitals, Bootie City or Ricoburg has fallen into enemy hands.
We're playing these battles as 1000 points, random everything AI pick Armour Only battles -- we switch sides for each CM battle.
Winner of the last battle has the initiative and attacks the next hex.
Hexes that are surrounded by enemy hexes are immediatedly captured -- except for towna and cities which have to be captured in battle.
In case of the attacker losing, no hexes change hands, just the initiative passes to the other side who can attack in turn anywhere they wish.
In case of a DRAW, we will replay the battle and the winner captures the opposing hex -- attacker can lose his hex in this case.
All battles are random terrain, except for forested hexes where we will use max tree cover...and towns and cities where town and city maps will be used.
I will post progress and map updates here as we go along -- this is purely a fun campaign and not to be taken too seriously.
