I liked the compact size. A big fan setup hanging off the CPU/Motherboard looked like it would put a lot of stress on the board.
@Meat Grinder ….. So Doug you must be near make your mind up ? come on tell us what you have decided
For those of you with an upcoming build, my super intelligent nephew wasted no time pointing out that I should have ordered an RTX2060 GPU, rather than the 1660. Oh well. Video cards are easy to replace.
Is it too late to cancel that order? Especially if you say you want the upgraded item instead?
Latest from my nephew, Re: my GPU choice:
"It should be fine. I have a 6gb 1060 and that card benches more than mine. It is close to the 2060 but without ray tracing. Of course few games actually use it yet hence the lack of price drops on the 10 series. "
So there you go. (Like I know what I'm talking about.....)
Amazing how working a day of overtime (today) can change things.
New (?) thing about Amazon returns. It seems I can print a label, package the rejected video card, take it to my local post office, and pay around $9 to ship it back.....OR.....I can just request an e-mail and bring the video card to my local Kohls department store, show them the e-mail on my phone, and hand them the video card (in manufacturer's unopened packaging) without even putting it in a box, and they will return it to Amazon.....for free. Is this really a thing now?
